Join Jenny Opdycke, PA-C, in this two-part series to learn about the emotional freedom technique, designed especially for caregivers AND teens with anxiety and depression.

Caregiver Video Recording: The first video was recorded for the caregiver in mind. The caregiver video gives the "why" behind the technique and its benefits.

Practice Video Recording: The second video is the practice video. The practice video gives you an opportunity to try the technique alongside your teen and learn why doing - which is best at their age! This video may be focused on teens but the truth is, this technique is helpful for all ages.

Why Tapping for Teens?

Stress is a common part of most of our lives right now. While stress and anxiety is difficult enough for adults to handle, it can prove especially detrimental to our children.

We don't all have to live with anxiety and fear, though. In fact, experts say that there's a form of alternative medicine — referred to as EFT tapping — that can help us all manage anxiety during the pandemic and after.

Because most children cannot clearly articulate how they feel, they either express themselves through tantrums or carry around their emotions internally. EFT tapping is a wonderful tool that children can learn and utilize when they feel negative emotions build. It's an easy process to pick up, and EFT often produces instant positive results in children.
